Homer, Alaska Directions By Land
From the Homer Airport or Marine Terminal: From Homer Spit Rd., take Kachemak Dr. to East End Rd. (approx. 3.5 mi.). Turn right. You will come to a pedestrian crosswalk. After the crosswalk you’ll see Gladys Dr. on your right. China Poot St. follows on your left. Turn left and go up the hill approx .3 mi. Juneberry Lodge is the large log lodge with a stone base on your left. An iron pelton wheel marks the driveway, and the address, 40963, is posted on a green sign.
From Anchorage or Seward: Follow signs to Alaska Rt. 1 (Sterling Highway) to Homer. In Homer, turn left on Pioneer Ave., which becomes East End Rd. at Lake St. Continue 3.9 mi. Anchorage International Airport (ANC): Most U.S. airlines have daily service to Anchorage, with Alaska Airlines and Delta being leading carriers. A number of rental car companies will be happy to put you on the road to Homer, just 225 scenic miles down the beautiful Kenai Peninsula.
Homer Airport: As the crow flies, Homer is 110 miles from Anchorage with numerous flights daily year-round operated by Ravn Air. Once in Homer, you will find car rentals, taxis and bike rentals.

HOME IN HOMER! What a remarkable accommodation!!! I could not get enough of this place – absolutely the best stay in Alaska and one of the few top places we’ve ever stayed around the globe. Marcia and Mannfried made our time here a one to remember for good. In fact, we had decided to cancel all our plans for the only afternoon we had in Homer just to enjoy this place, the deck and the view. We had room on the first floor with 2 beds and private bathroom ā very comfortable sleep, spacious enough for 3 of us, beyond cozy. Hosts are extremely hospital, top notch communication. Marcia has a collection of donated bear sprays for hikers š The whole property is uniquely decorated, immaculately clean! It was so good to share few stories at the very tasty breakfast, play some music ā it became personal. My heart melts every time I think about this stay.
