An Authentic Rustic Log Home

Your ideal Homer lodging choice!

The Juneberry Lodge is an historic log lodge true in spirit and décor to the early homesteaders. Our unique Alaskan artifacts, extensive Alaskan library, hand-crafted quilts and rugs, and works by local artists are yours to enjoy.

Out the windows are magical views of Kachemak Bay, three glistening glaciers and an abundance of wildlife. The large welcoming decks invite you to linger in the fresh air. In addition, each morning guests are treated to a full hot breakfast. Fresh brewed coffee and tea always are available.

Inside the Lodge

Authentic Alaskan artifacts adorn the Juneberry Lodge. The warm character of the log home welcomes you to snuggle up in the shared lounge and library with your favorite book or simply stand in awe at the fantastic view.

Breakfast Is Served!

Do you know one of the things Juneberry guests love best? Breakfast!  We fuel you for the day with hearty hot breakfasts our guests say are “amazing” and “over the top”. We use locally sourced ingredients, including from our own greenhouse. Enjoy our famous blueberry sourdough pancakes made with an authentic 1897 Alaskan starter! Relish our fresh fruit crepes or loaded veggie scramble served with local blue-ribbon Granma’s Jams. Tell us if you have dietary preferences we can accommodate.

Interested in Sustainable Travel?

We are, too! Juneberry Lodge is powered by a 40-panel roof-mounted solar PV system.

With our long daylight hours and strong southern exposure, the lodge generates nearly 100% of its electrical usage in the summer and even gives some back! Our BioCycle® aerobic treatment system uses a series of controlled biological processes to clean our wastewater to a level of purity unattainable by conventional septic systems.
